Pin Up

You're not the first girl to draw her fears on her arms

In hopes to capture all the memories that hunted you down
You can sew you're lips down with you're heartstrings
'Cause I know you won't need them to hold yourself together

Just don't look down 'cause falling down is fatal
You should've never hold yourself this high.

You're not the first girl to cut her fears in her arms

Then let them trickle down
Past memories
To pools in her hands.

You can hang yourself with your heartstrings
'Cause i know you won't use them to hold yourself up anymore.

Pull the needle from the back of my wings
And I will fall to the floor
And you just won't ... pull yourself together

You're not the first girl to carve her pain on her arms.

How can you know what I'm feeling when its all locked inside
To wear it on my body
Free what words cannot describe

A thin red line tells you where the pain its been
I see the red but no pain to feel
So many secrets hide beneath my skin

She bleeds.
Internal blackness fades to white
Outside vermillion
Stains the water,
Spirals to the bottom as it congeals.

For a moment she is numb
The scarlet's washing her pain.
But darkness doesn't leave
For long,
And the ichor returns to stray
Her disconsolate hue
Cold.

But not today.

Sometimes

Sometimes

Sometimes a stranger can be your best friend

Sometimes being angry is the best mood

Sometimes seeing you feel good makes me feel even better

Sometimes hunger is the best food

Sometimes good just ain't good enough

And other times evil will get you even

Sometimes faith is not knowing any better

Sometimes nothing is what you believe in

Sometimes I don't even need a hook

Sometimes you fail trying

And sometimes happiness hurts worse

Sometimes people live dying

Sometimes it's the last person that makes you first

Sometimes you'll keep what you don't want

And other times you'll give away what you really need

Sometimes a rich man won't have a dollar

And all a poor man has is greed

Sometimes I just wanna listen

Sounds good to me

Sometimes I don't think people know I am as good as I really am

Now my recitings and writing over rhythm's

Regularly reinacts facts of my existence

Using unrequested serious infested poetry

To provoke what persistence

For instance, I don't let T.V. screen come in between my daily routine

At a spot where me and my boy went

Someone interrupted out enjoyment

Dude, we're eating!

But I'm still curteous with my greeting

And his style sounded similar to someone elses

So evidently he's been cheating

But I couldn't question the destiny in which we meet

So, you guessed it, I suggested that he just have a seat

And then I explained to him that I remained in the mean time

Mastering mysterious methods of writing

Finding my peace of mind with soft music and moonlight

Then supernaturally I forsee the beginning stages

And then eventually pages get filled; completely

You see, I dive into the depths of my soul

Seeking to explore the hidden treasure of a pure literature

While these others are unsure

Being that the deepness makes them doubtful

Deliberately delaying

Saying they'll settle for whatever washes towards the shore

Delirious from delusion

My feelings were then indirects from the conclusion; the seclusion!

Because mixed beliefs create confusion

To remain plain and simplistic, realistic

Accurate, articulate and absolutely artistic

Uninhibited, unadulterated, unstoppable

Unfuckwithable and unforgettable.

But since I've been granted the power of choice

Let Sun be the voice it is

So all the credibility is his

So let these be words of wisdom and in the same breath warning

Man, I shine like Sunday morning.

WOW

See you next time
